Dalva launches Metamorfose Douro Branco 2019

Metamorfose means change, transformation in the process of development – a phenomenon that requires time and patience. This is what we see in butterflies, in human beings, and also in the wine. This Dalva Metamorfose is a practical example of this.

With oenology by José Manuel Sousa Soares, this wine is made using traditional white grape skins from the Douro Demarcated Region, sourced from a century-old vineyard in Sabrosa, and subsequently enriched by fermentation and eight months’ ageing in used 300-litre Hungarian oak barrels.

With just 1,600 bottles available, the Dalva Metamorfose Douro Branco 2019 will be on sale at the country’s leading wine shops, restaurants and the online shop www.granvinhos.pt
